Guest speakers, Ministry for Ethnic Communities, Mervin Singham, Department of Internal Affairs, Hoani Lambert, New Zealand Police Superintendent, Rakesh Naidoo. 
In depth discussions took place on the current year’s events and future strategic planning.
Retiring Deputy Commissioner New Zealand Police, Wally Haumaha, was presented with a Tokotoko for his services and guidance to multicultural councils.
